Lois at 6th Avenue

1974. When I moved to Vancouver my first stop was to see my childhood friend Lois who was living in a block of odd little apartments we called 'Cat's Ass Court" on Sixth Avenue. It was essentially a tenement full of an assortment of characters right out of a novel, long since torn down but oh my, we had some fun there. This is Lois, in the doorway of her kitchen. The electrical socket and the tiny bouquet? Who knows. We were in our twenties! It was art.
