Gavin

Circa 1976. Gavin was the son of a family friend we spent Christmas with one year. They lived in a giant house cluttered with stacks of books, desks, lamps and all manner of camera and photography gear that belonged to his mother. She was a bit of a free spirit and allowed her son to stay up to all hours; this was taken late on Christmas night.
