Superhost

Superhost was a campaign BC Tourism thought up sometime around 1986 or so. You know, how to be welcoming hosts to our visitors, avoid cultural misunderstandings, be nice to each other and so on. I believe that Working Design, the company I did artwork for, put in a bid for the job.  (What normally happens is the client gets to see some samples of the proposed artwork along with the bid). These cartoons and the ones that will follow were done on spec in the hopes that they'd be picked up for the campaign. Somebody else got the job, or else it was shelved.
