Challenger Recruits

About the same time that the Challenger space shuttle  blew up, there was a rumor going around Vancouver that dogs and cats were being stolen out of peoples' yards and taken to UBC where they were being used in lab testing. I suspect it was more likely that pets were disappearing due to urban coyotes but the rumor persisted for a while.
