Why Do You Have an Expo Pass?

Remember Expo '86? There was a lot of opposition to the spectacle from the usual quarters. The thing went ahead of course, and was a smash hit with the world. (rather too much of a hit because the world that came to Vancouver to see Expo decided it was also a great place in which to invest.  1986 marked the beginning of the real estate boom in Vancouver which led to union-busting, right to work legislation, relaxed or violated building codes and the mess of leaky condos that continues today. But that's another story.)
