Rubymusic Sweat Shirt
This was done to commemorate the 10th anniversay of Co-op Radio's RubyMusic program. The original artwork was done on repro paper (my printer friends will remember what that was – do they even make it any more?) Repro was a gorgeous type of paper, originally made for use in letterpress galleys. It was a heavy paper with a brilliant white clay coating. Inked type, when pressed against this, produced a super sharp text, with zero bleed. It was a dream to draw on with a technical or felt pen, and would accept letraset beautifully, too. If doing pen-ruling, you could actually scratch the coating off (using a printer's magnifying glass) to make a precise 90 degree edge. OK, I know, too much detail.
