The Tomten Fox

I based this on an illustration in a kid's book called "The Tomten and the Fox". I forget the story but the image was a hungry fox in the snow. I've always loved drawing or painting animals and fell in love with this image and decided to try to paint it. I did this one night in 1982. It was a one-off, never to be repeated. Watercolour is like that. I wish the image was better. I lost the original and had to make do with an old scan.
