The Connie Series

This was a strip I did in the mid 80's. Yes it is a complete ripoff of Nicole Hollander's 'Sylvia' strip. [Dear purists: get over yourself. Everybody copies everybody. And don't pretend you haven't] Connie was a friend who hosted a music show on Co-op Radio. She was awesome material and got a big kick out of the strip. Only problem was, she kept asking me to make her thinner and with better hair. Tough audience! The first panel is me developing the Connie look and some of the peripheral characters.
