Terry's Birthday Cake

It was spring in Vancouver  and somebody was turning 25.  Whose birthday was it? I forget, but it was one of the Banffshire Gang for sure. To mark the event, Terry baked a marvelous carrot cake, topped with  CREAM CHEESE. (we were all hilariously poor in those days, so high end ingredients were a big deal). We picked little daisy flowers down by the seawall to decorate it. It was a stupendously fabulous cake.
