Stephen in a Cowboy Hat

Another party across the hall at the boys' place. Who had more fun than we did? I was starting to use colour slide film during this time. Stolen from the school board, of course. I was annoyed at first that the centerpiece of the shot, Stephen, was not in focus but on further reflection, the slight blurring seems appropriate (the apartment itself was in focus but not us – hey, we were often a little blurry around the edges back then). The photo to me is the fun and foolishness of that time, distilled.
So although it's summer in this shot, I think it's a good visual with which to wish all my Faithful Readers a Joyously Happy New Year!
