Sit!

1985. An acquaintance of mine was into furniture making and wanted to start her own business, specializing in settles* and chairs. This was a design idea for an ad that would have appeared locally.

*and this is a settle. It's an old term, not in common use today. This particular one is oak, and was in the front porch of the family home for years. When the house was sold my sister in law rescued it and refinished it as you see here. (she could fill her own blog with her sewing, crafts and restoration projects!)
