RooneyToons

I started doing greeting cards in the mid 80s, and called the line "RooneyToons". I sold some of them out of a bookstore on south Granville, and also tried marketing them (without success) to card companies. The card industry is tremendously competitive and unless you are fortunate to be a well-known illustrator, you won't make make much money at it. I'd say the most money I made over the years was in sending my own cards rather than buying them! This one was always my favourite:
