Road Trip to San Francisco 1978, end

These kids were playing one morning in the neighbourhood where Terry and I were crashing. Terry was sleeping in and I was out in the area, looking for things to photograph. Upon seeing me with the camera they asked "Did you come down here on the bus?" They were friendly boys and didn't seem to mind me taking their picture.

Terry being dramatic. I think this was taken at a university but I can't remember the name. It's an unusual wall, perhaps one of my Faithful Readers will recognize it.
Terry with his mentor Bruce. Bruce was a poet who encouraged and critiqued Terry's work. Terry idolized him, as can be seen in his posture here.
