Although these are recent photos, they could easily have been taken decades earlier. I found myself stuck in Edmonton this fall and needed a cheap haircut with streaks. A hunt through the internet turned up 'Lulu Hairstylist', a short walk from my location. Lulu herself did the honours, ruthlessly applying bleach to swaths of my hair then snipping and razoring for the desired effect. I figured this would be either the worst haircut of my life or surprisingly acceptable. And it turned out to be surprisingly acceptable, I'm happy to report.
I regret not taking a photo of Lulu herself. She was a tiny Vietnamese woman (5'2" and could not have weighed more than 90 pounds) Blue and red hair, blue stretch pants and gold lamé slippers. She was fun!
