Running Girl

Although I much prefer B&W photos, there are some shots that simply must be in colour. This is one of them – the pink of the girl's dress against the green lawn makes the photo move. She almost ran out of the frame, I just barely caught her!
This was taken in 2018, in Pisa Italy. Kids were running and playing on the lawns that lead up to the structure and I snapped this girl running. (And no, I did not do the obligatory tourist 'propping up the Leaning Tower of Pisa with my finger' shot). I've long since abandoned heavy SLR cameras; this was done with a small Lumix z2550. It has a powerful zoom for a little camera but still doesn't have the crisp focus of those giant old lenses I used to lug around.
