Misfit Little Girl

These cartoons were for a night class with instructor Carol Moiseivitch. I was trying out colour - this is ink rather than paint. The assignment was to create a character and develop him or her, so I chose to make this misfit kid who adored her grandmother. So the kid and the grandma are sort of me and my grandma, (or the people we never quite were). But close enough. I was intrigued by Moiseivitch's art, as can be seen in some of the style here.
