Moving to the Suburbs

I left the West End and moved to Marpole in 1983. I hadn't lived in a house for years so it was a bit of an adjustment, leaving the bustle and confines of downtown apartment living for the relative wilds of Marpole. I wound up doing this series of cartoons joking about 'living in the suburbs'. Most of the cartoons I drew during that time used cat figures and I consider this series to be among the best of that genre.
