Maira Kalman

An old university pal brought artist Maira Kalman to my attention. Had I heard of her or her book,  'Principles of Uncertainty'? Well, no I hadn't but I bought the book and fell in love with Kalman's wit and whimsical illustrations. I love her art and the text that goes with it. This quick felt pen sketch is from a YouTube video of Kalman, made in New York where she currently lives. She's eating a hot dog from an outdoor stand and then proceeds to skip down the street. Now you just gotta love that.
