Sasquatch Bill

Circa 1975. I worked in a logging camp one spring, planting trees. Except for a few families and married couples, the majority of the workforce lived in large bunkhouses. 200 men and 4 women. You'd think with those numbers we'd have been harassed a lot but that wasn't the case at all. There was a curious amount of chivalry and politeness from the men towards us. This is Bill, nicknamed "Sasquatch Bill" because of his size. He was an easy-going fellow, but just the same nobody messed with him, not even the foreman.
