Liz
Liz was an artist who lived next door to me at the Banffshire for several years and worked with what was then a relatively new art medium – video. She was involved with the Western Front, an artist-run center in Vancouver founded in 1973 by eight artists (one of whom was Vincent Trasov, who famously ran for mayor of Vancouver in 1969 as Mr. Peanut, garnering 5% of the vote) Liz, who was also known as "Digit" didn't hang out with us that much, but I got in on a few parties with the arty set. I'm afraid I usually found their videos to be incomprehensible and endless. But arty. Very arty. Liz was a good subject and posed well.
