Job Application

Sometime in the early 80s, the North Shore News advertised for a cartoonist. Such an opportunity, even at a small local paper, was unheard of so of course I applied. Rather than just do text with a few samples, I made the whole application a strip, designed to show off my witty range.  I don't know who got the job and it's a good thing I didn't – the new hire was laid off within the year.
