First Telephoto

Circa 1974. I believe this shot was taken the same day as "Please Use Other Door". This young woman was reading near Kits Beach and sitting so still I had time to laboriously unscrew the 50 mm lens and attach the telephoto. I think it was a 200 mm and so long as you could focus quickly, excellent for distance photos. I like that the beach behind her is out of focus, which was deliberate. One of the things I dislike about current digital cameras and iPhones is the lack of control over depth of field.
