Drawing in Jamaica
Drawing in Jamaica was a challenge. Anywhere outside your room you'd soon be swarmed by curious children who would literally climb over your shoulder to get a look. Next they would want to try their hand at drawing, too, so maintaining focus was impossible. I lost a few pencils before learning the only places I could draw were at the table in my room or the upper stairwell.
I drew dogs, too. Lots of dogs all over Negril.
