Dierdre

Dierdre was one of the revolving doors of roommates I lived with in a communal house on West 13th Avenue in Vancouver. She was literally the first vegetarian I ever met. She wouldn't eat sugar, either. (Perhaps this contributed to her perpetually calm demeanor). The house could hold up to five residents (10, if everybody had a boyfriend or girlfriend!) and worked surprisingly well. It was a lovely old house; this was taken in the wood paneled dining room.
