David Levine

David Levine was another political cartoonist who intrigued me. He was most famous for his caricatures of American Presidents, most notably Richard Nixon, who he pilloried no less than 66 times!  Levine was another master of cross-hatching. Tragically, he went blind in his later years and was unable to draw.
As for doing caricatures myself, I tried but never had the knack for them. Below is an accurate rendering of one of Levine's works I liked: Leonid Brezhnev.
