Afternoon in Gastown

Circa 1975. I took this photo during a walk through Gastown one sunny afternoon. There was some sort of street performance going on and everybody was focused on that so it was easy to snap some shots. The composition is deliberate, I wanted just the legs and boots with lots of pavement. Raising the camera any higher would have alerted him to what I was doing.

Gastown, same day. I had to jump out of his way, I don't think he could see well in the fox costume. I'd love to know the backstory for this shot!!
