Cheap Paint

I bought some hobby acrylic paint at a yard sale last year. Acrylic is not something I use any more – astonishingly expensive and better suited to larger pieces than I have room to work on – but these were so cheap how could I resist? Rather tedious to work with, however. The cartoon at left shows how poor the paint coverage is, you need multiple coats like the one on the right. I finally added some Posca pen and India ink and called it a day.
Long ago one of my Faithful Readers quipped "Use poor materials and watch your work turn to shit before your very eyes".

Cheap and cheerful! Best suited for painting birdhouses.
